The Mouth of the Columbia

Lewis and Clark on the Columbia River by Remington, in Pioneers of the Nortwest, by Ogg and Skinner, Yale University Press, 1919. A memorial to Lewis and Clark is at the Fort Clatsop National Monument.

Except for the Celilo Falls, the Sternwheeler, and the fisherman, the black and white photos are from the History of the Pacific Northwest by Joseph Schafer, published in 1905.
